Tender Notice for Procurement of Laboratory Chemicals/ Glassware/ Consumables

Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU), Rawalpindi invites sealed bids from reputed firms/ companies for provision of laboratory chemicals/ glassware & consumables for Department of Chemistry as per following terms & conditions: -

Terms & Conditions

 

  1. Firms should be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Department.
  2. Five (05) percent of the estimated cost of the Laboratory Chemicals/ Glassware/ Consumables must be enclosed with the bid as earnest money (refundable to the unsuccessful bidders) in favour of Treasurer, Fatima Jinnah Women University, The Mall, Rawalpindi. Bid(s) without earnest money will not be considered. The earnest money should be in the form of Bank Draft/Pay Order/ Call Deposit Receipt.
    No Crossed-Cheque/ Bank Challan/ Cash will be accepted.
  3. The University may reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid or proposal. The University shall upon request communicate to any supplier or contractor who submitted a bid or proposal, the grounds for its rejection of all bids or proposals, but is not required to justify those grounds.
  4. Pre-Bid meeting will be held at on 29th December 2021 at 1100 Hours.
  5. Tender Documents are available on Punjab PPRA as well as University website. Please attach tender fee along-with the bid in the form of Bank Draft/ Pay Order of Rs.1000/- in the name of Treasurer, FJWU. The bids without Tender Fee will not be accepted/ entertained.
  6. Detailed Terms & Conditions/ Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned immediately after uploading/ publication of the Tender during
    0900 hours to 1500 hours except Saturdays and Sundays on provision of Pay Order/ Bank Draft/ Call Deposit Receipt of Rs. 1000/- in the name of Treasurer, FJWU.
  7. It is an open tender, therefore both i.e. already registered firms with FJWU and new vendors having relevant experience can apply.

Interested parties may drop their bids in the Tender Box placed in the office of the Undersigned between 0800 hours to 1100 hours on 13th January 2022. The bids will be opened on the same day at 1130 Hours. Time and date also applicable to tenders to be received through courier services. No bid will be accepted after 1100 hours.
