The Department of Physics has been established since September, 2015. The vision of Fatima Jinnah Women University is to produce highly competitive individuals, sound in academics, morality and profession. The department offers four years BS program in Physics directing towards MS and Ph. D in future.

The aim of physics department is to empower the women through scientific and ethical values.BS physics is a comprehensive undergraduate program. It enables students to develop skills of problem solving and finding solutions in physics. Our objective is to produce international quality human resources in physics and provide a firm forum to excel the knowledge by quality research work. The program trains the graduates in the broad spectrum of all aspects of physics that brings understanding, knowledge and innovation to students.
The Degree program ensures the quality education to seek a career in physics and motivates the students surmount in their educational and professional career.
Department of Physics is intended to organize seminars, conferences and workshops and invites guest speakers to share their views and research about physics of everyday life to physics of superglue.
