Psychological Tests Resource Center (PTRC)
Psychological Tests Resource Center (PTRC) at the Department of Behavioral Sciences provides multiple opportunities to facilitate well-being of the students, faculty and staff at Fatima Jinnah Women University. PTRC has testing and assessment facility available to the students from all departments. There are variety of psychological tests/protocols available some of which have been developed, adopted or translated by the students and/or faculty of Behavioral Sciences program and can be used across disciplines at FJWU wherever relevant. The available tests include cognitive/intellectual achievement (such as WAIS, WISC, WRAT etc.), screening tools (such as Dyslexia Screening Test, Clinical Language Intervention Program, Developmental test of Visual Motor Integration and Bender Visual Motor Gestalt Test), personality measures (such as CPI, PAI, MMPI, Rotters, Incomplete Sentence Blank, Rorschach Inkblot Test, Thematic Apperception Test etc.) and other diagnostics tests and inventories. This facility also maintains excellent repository of resource books on specialization subjects such as books on neuropsychological testing, standardization procedures, clinical treatments and cognitive development.
PTRC also organizes various workshops and seminars for faculty and students. The main aim of these workshops is to provide practical skills to lead a productive life both in working and non-working environment. These workshops are helpful for students and faculty in terms of recognizing, managing and coping with their everyday tasks.
