FJWU Organized "Anti-Drug Awareness Seminar"

Rawalpindi- Department of Law and Commerce, Fatima Jinnah Women University, as per directions of Punjab Higher Education organized “Anti-Drug Awareness Seminar” amongst students. In which Department of Law and Commerce students perform skit/play to highlight the drug abuse effect on young generation.

Anti-drug Awareness seminar was arranged to highlighted the several causes that are observed in the young generations to go towards the drug addiction. The main reason includes weakness in faith, depression, pear pressure, unintentional dependency of medicines, and lack of self- control, for experience and to enhance performance. Seminar was arranged to highlight the role and efforts of the University in awareness rising about the issue. Students perform play to highlights these social issues related to drug addiction and how it destroys our physical and mental health.

In concluding remarks Ms. Zaish and Ms. Ayesha from Law & Commerce Department highlighted that the seminar is an effort to ensure and support the mission to promote safer and healthier society. At the end Anti-drug Awareness walk was arranged. A large number of students, faculty members and staff, carrying banners related to Drug Awareness attended the walk.
