Job Opportunities (Faculty Positions) Advertisement No.2/2026

Applications are invited from qualified professionals who are competent, motivated, innovative, goal oriented, and committed to the cause of female higher education for the following teaching positions for the appointment on Contract for 3 years:

Lecturer, Computer Sciences
(02 posts) (BS-18) (3 years Contract)

Eligibility Criteria

Age 21-35 years
MS or M.Phil. (first class) in computing or equivalent qualification from an institute or a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission.

Note: An applicant having third division in academic career shall not be eligible.

CONDITIONS (How to Apply):

Interested applicants are required to apply online through University job portal i.e. www.fjwu.edu.pk and MUST also submit the hard copy of the application form along with required documents.

  1. Once the candidate enters all the information and uploads the required documents on the portal, he/she can apply for the job.
  2. Application on the prescribed university form, with (i) complete bio-data including Personal Statement (upto 2000 words)(covering aim, suitability for the job  and  future  targets) and attested documents including degree, certificates and transcripts (ii) experience certificates (iii) equivalence certificate of MS/Ph.D at national level issued by the Higher Education Commission (if applicable) (iv) CNIC (v)Domicile (vi) 2-recent photographs (vii) original receipt of paid challan should reach the office of the Registrar by the due date i.e September 28, 2026.
  3. Applicants are required to pay processing fee of Rs. 3,000/-(non-refundable) via any online banking app using kuickpay on or before September 28, 2026. The fee submitted by any other source will not be considered for job purpose and application form will be considered as incomplete and the application will not be processed / accepted without fee payment as mentioned.
  4. Must provide the No inquiry / audit pending certificate from current organization / institution, and from previous employer / organization (if currently left the previous job).
  5. Applications with incomplete documents and received after due date shall not be entertained by any means.
  6. Applicants already working in Government/Semi-Government Organizations/Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel by due date and submit updated service certificates issued by their present employer; otherwise, their applications will not be entertained.
  7. If the candidate who has applied after taking NOC from his/her parent department / institution / university and got selected in any other department / institution / university during the process of selection, he/she would be required to send immediately an NOC from the new employer, failing which the application will be rejected ab-initio. However, the University may entertain advance copies.
  8. Degree only from HEC recognized university / degree awarding institutions will be considered.
  9. Candidates applying for the posts must enlist the attached documents with signatures.
  10. Foreign degree holders must provide equivalence certificate issued by HEC.
  11. Only short listed candidates will be called for interview. (Decision of the University shall remain binding in all cases).
  12. No TA/DA will be paid for interviews/test.
  13. The University reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts, not to fill any post, and/or withhold/withdraw the appointment against any advertised post.
  14. Relaxation in upper age limit may be granted to suitable candidates as per Government of Punjab Rules.
  15. The University is not responsible if call letters are delayed or not received due to any lapse of courier service/post office/ telephone message.
  16. 5% quota has been reserved for minorities and 3% for disabled persons.
  17. Demonstration / Test will be conducted of the eligible candidates (if needed), where required under the rules.
  18. Dismissed/terminated from the service or penalized contrary to the service(s) by any of the University/Government Department/ Autonomous body and semi government are not eligible for aforementioned posts.
  19. In case any information provided by the candidate in his/her application form is found to be incorrect or false at any stage, he/she shall be disqualified and action will be taken as per rules.
  20. Applications will NOT be processed if:
    1.  Both online and hard copies are not submitted by due date.
    2.  Documents are incomplete.
    3.  Fee is not submitted.
