23rd Annual Day Celebration for BPS 1-16 at FJWU
On the 25th of March 2022, Fatima Jinnah Women University hosted an event by the name of “23rd Annual Day Celebration” for BPS 1-16, the incharge of which was Ms.Asima Zeb. The purpose of this celebration was the enhancement and improvement of mental, emotional, and psychological wellbeing of the staff at Fatima Jinnah. The main focus was to highlight the important role every staff member plays towards the University, especially in light of the tough situation due to the pandemic. The Annual Day celebration was quite successful. The event was sponsored by the Federal Minister and Former Education Minister Ms. Zubaida Jalal, and Vice Chairperson Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce, Mrs. Saima Dastageer. Other sponsors included Savour foods, Tehzeeb Bakers, Ausaf Travels, Murree Brewery, and J.W Holding Pvt. Ltd. The event began with Ms.Asima welcoming and addressing the audience, saying a few for the purpose of celebration. The worthy vice chancellor also made an appearance and contributed by speaking about the importance of positivity among staff, and boosting their morale. The Treasurer Hamood ur Rehman then talked about the distribution of 35 gift hampers and 15 cash prizes worth Rs.10,000/ each to employees among non gazetted members of staff. The event was concluded with lunch.
