Convocation 2021
The Convocation of graduates from the year 2019, 2020 and 2021 will be held tentatively on 7th March 2022. All graduates (BS/M.Phil & PhD) who want to attend convocation are requested to register for convocation in their respective departments till December 10, 2021. The convocation fee inclusive of all charges is PKR4000.
Do’s and Don’ts for students for Convocation, 2022 to be held on 7th March 2022
- Bring registration and invitation cards on both days along with original CNIC.
- Dress code should be strictly followed (neutral color dresses, black / brown coat shoes, tied hair, no heavy jewelry, no chappals / sandals).
- Students should strictly follow the timings (which will be conveyed to them by their respective departments) on both days, no entry will be allowed after closing the registration process as well as doors.
- On convocation day, no mobile phones, hand bags or cameras are allowed.
- Any student not complying the dress code or any other requirements will not be allowed to participate in the rehearsal as well as the convocation proceedings. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Do’s and Dont’s of the Convocation should be strictly followed.
- Children of the age 8 – 13 are allowed on rehearsal day, but not on convocation day. Therefore, you should make arrangements beforehand. No requests will be entertained.
- Students have to complete all degree requirements before registration. Students on thesis extension must have viva before closing dates of registration.
Convocation registration is not mandatory for all the students if they are not attending convocation.
No exception will be entertained in any case.
Registration fee will be Rs.4000/ till 20th December without fine.
From 21-24 December a fine of Rs 500/ will be charged only once i.e Rs. 4500/.
From 27-28 December fee with fine of Rs 1000 will be charged once i.e Rs 5000/.
Those students who have submitted registration fee with daily fine of Rs 500 will be refunded as per revised corrigendum.
