Registration for 14th Convocation

INFORMATION REGARDING REGISTRATION PROCESS OF 14th CONVOCATION
January 20th-21st, 2015

REGISTRATION DATES
December 12-31, 2014 (Without Fine)

  • Late comers will be entertained only till January 6, 2015 (Tuesday) on the payment of fine Rs. 200/= per day (w.e.f January 1, 2015).
  • Students have to complete all degree requirements before registration.

Registration charges are not mandatory for the students who will not attend the 14th Convocation.
Registration Breakup for Masters & Bachelors’ Students for the Year of 2014

Breakup of charges is as follow:
Gown Rent: Rs. 400/-
Registration charges: Rs. 1600/-

Total Rs. 2000/-

Registration Breakup for laggard Masters & Bachelors students (who did not pay their Degree Charges) for the Year of 2014
Breakup of charges (for laggard students who did not pay degree charges earlier) is as follow:

Degree Charges Rs. 1500/-
Gown Rent: Rs. 400/-
Registration charges: Rs. 1600/-

Total Rs. 3500/-

  • The details for the guests in the upcoming 14th Convocation are as follows;

 

Graduating Students Guests
Gold/ Silver Medalist Two guests are allowed (one is free of cost and
the other one is allowed on payment of Rs. 1500/-)
Other Graduating Students One guest free of charge

  • Registration Breakup for PhD/ M. Phil Students for  the Year of 2014 is as follow:

Guest details for PhD/ M. Phil students

Two guest One guest is free of charge and the other one is allowed on payment of Rs.
1500/-

Rules/ Regulations for PhD/ M. Phil students will be same as those for other graduating students.

 

Do’s and Don’ts of Convocation Days (January 20th-21st, 2015)

  • Students should bring their registration as well as Invitation Card on both days.
  • Dress code should be strictly followed (neutral color dresses, black/ brown coat shoes, tied hair, no heavy jewelry, no chappals/ sandals).
  • Guest and the students should bring invitation and NIC cards.
  • Students should strictly observe the timings on both days as follow, no entry will be allowed after closing the registration process as well as doors.
  • Don’t leave your guest unattended at the time of registration, as it well cause security problem.
  • On Convocation day, hands should be absolutely free, no mobile phones, hand bags or cameras are allowed.
  • Any student not complying the dress code or any other requirements will not be allowed to participate in the rehearsal as well as the convocation proceedings.

No Exceptions.

  • Don’t embarrass us and yourself in front of your guests for not complying to Do’s & Don’ts of Convocation.
  • Children of the age group 8-13 are allowed on rehearsal day, but not on Convocation day. Therefore you should make arrangements before hand. No requests will be entertained
  • No changes regarding guests will be entertained after the registration process is over.
  • Brothers of the students (as guest) will be allowed only under extra ordinary circumstances after the due approval of competent authorities.

Rules & Regulations for 14th Convocation
 
There will be no changes in the guest list as well as addition of the guest, once the registration process is closed.

  • Students have to complete all degree requirements before registration. Students on thesis extension must have viva before closing dates of registration.
  • Convocation registration is not mandatory for all the students if they are not attending convocation.
  • No exception will be entertained in any case.
