SHORT TENDER NOTICE FOR PURCHASE OF MISCELLANEOUS EQUIPMENT

 

 

Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) invites bids from reputed Companies for provision of following equipment: -

 

1.         Weapons along-with Ammunitions                                              -           Part “A”

            (Pump Action: 12 Bore Shot-Guns & Rifles: 0.2 inch)

 

2.         Fine Arts Equipment                                                                  -           Part “B”

 

-           Part “C”
 
3.         Air Conditioners

4.         Shredder

5.         Vacuum Cleaners (Heavy Duty & Small Bucket Type)

6.         UPS

 

 

Terms & Conditions

1.                  Firms should be registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Department.

2.                  The quantity can be changed at the time of actual procurement.

3.                  Two percent of the value of the tender in the form of Bank Draft/Pay Order must be enclosed with the bid as earnest money (refundable to the unsuccessful bidders) in favour of Treasurer, Fatima Jinnah Women University, The Mall, Rawalpindi.

4.                  The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance Bond equal to 10 % of the total value of the equipment delivered, otherwise the Earnest Money will be retained for the duration of warranty period.

5.                  The prices should be quoted in Pak Rupees including GST where applicable.

6.                  The price quoted should be valid for 120 days and can be extended by another 30 days.

7.                  The University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the quotations without assigning any reason.

8.                  The firms would be required to provide the equipment within two weeks after issue of Purchase Orders so that payment can be made well before 30th June 2010.

9.                  The successful bidder will provide proper bill and separate sale tax invoice for payment.

10.               A Party can participate in one or more than one category.

11.               It is an open tender, so already registered firms with FJWU and new vendors can apply.

12.               Tender documents can be obtained from the office of the undersigned during office hours (0800 hrs to 1600 hrs) except Saturdays and Sundays on payment of
Rs. 500/- in the form of Bank Draft/ Pay Order in the name of Treasurer, FJWU.

 

Interested Parties may send their bids to the office of the undersigned latest by 1100 Hours on
20th May 2010. The bids will be opened on the same day at 1130 hours in the office of President Purchase Committee, FJWU.
