Keeping in view the importance of studies of Economics for the development of Pakistan, every effort is made and facility is provided by FJWU to encourage the M.Econ. students for working on Pakistan-oriented research projects. The major areas of research are Development Economics, International Economics, Public Finance and Monetary Economics, Agricultural Economics, Human Resource Development (HRD), Environmental Economics, Education, Industrial Economics and Demography. Eminent economists of prestigious institutions evaluate students' research projects. The Program frequently invites renowned national and international economists and public policy makers in the colloquiums organized in their honor. These colloquiums familiarize students with the tradition of active participation in controversial and dynamic economic issues and debates. |
