Qualification / Experience

For BPS/ Contract

Ph.D in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/ Institution (no experience).    OR

Master’s degree (foreign) OR M.Phil (Pakistan) OR equivalent degree awarded after 18 years of education as determined by the HEC in the relevant field from and HEC recognized University/ Institution with 4 years teaching/ research experience in a recognized university or a post-graduation institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.

The application forms are available at First Women Bank of RWP, ISB, HYD, FSB, KHI, LHR, MUL, BWP, Quetta and Peshawar for Rs.550/- and can also be downloaded from the university website www.fjwu.edu.pk and send to the Registrar Office along with a bank draft of Rs.550/- in favor of Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi through post/courier.

How to apply:

(1)   Application form must accompany updated resume, and three sets of the following attested documents:

(i) Degrees; (ii) National ID Card; (iii) Two recent photographs; and (iv) experience certificates.

(2)   Candidates working in government /semi-government /autonomous organizations must apply through proper channel; however advance copy may be submitted.

(3)   No TA/ DA will be paid for interview.

(4)   Incomplete application and /or application received after the due date will not be entertained.

(5)   Only short listed candidates will be called for interview and the university management reserves the right to fill in, reduce or withdraw any post at anytime.

Last Date for Submission of Applications: Application on prescribed form complete in all respects should be submitted in the Registrar Office by November 25, 2009.

Additional requirement for TTS applicants:

The applicants should prepare a comprehensive application dossier that may include letters of references from his/her Ph.D Supervisor as well as other from eminent researchers in his/her area of specializations and all publications in refereed journals recognized by the HEC. The application dossier may be obtained from the Registrar Office. It is also available at www.fjwu.edu.pk.
