History and Location:

The University was established under the Fatima Jinnah Women University Act in 1998 in the Old Presidency. It is located in Rawalpindi, approximately 25 km from Capital.

Admission:

FJWU offers an incomparable environment for young girls. The University focuses on two distinct dimensions, one is to add significantly of higher education the other is to introduce new areas of study for the young women of Pakistan . Our graduates are working with prestigious, national and international organizations

First Degree:

There are 7 Under-Graduate Programs: Bachelors in Software Engineering, Computer Arts, Economics, Education, English, environmental Sciences, Fine Arts. There are two kinds of Bachelor’s Programs regular, and Self Support.

In order to qualify for the Entrance Test, for Software Engineering, at least 60% marks in F.Sc. (Pre-Engineering or A-levels with Maths, Physics) and 45% marks for Computer Arts and other higher degree programs are required

There are 13 Post-graduate Programs: Behavioral Sciences, Business Administration, Communication Sciences, Computer Sciences, Defense and Diplomatic Studies, Economics, Education, English, Environmental Sciences, Fine Arts, Gender Studies, Islamic Studies, Public Administration.

All students must have at least 2 nd Divisions in BA/B.Sc. and their degree should be from a HEC accredited University. Students having 3 rd Division need not to apply

Minimum of 2 nd Division or 3.00 GPA in Masters from any recognized Higher Education Commission (HEC) University
Preference for students who have done their Masters with Research thesis
Cleared TOEFL with 580 and above scores or IELTS with 6.5 and above scores are required.
Have NOC from an Employer (if applicable)
